Q&A: How do I get pencil marks off aida cloth?

Question by cyntp1: How do I get pencil marks off aida cloth?
I completed a crossstich project that I created. I used pencil to map out my crossstich. Now I cannot seem to get the pencil marks off the cloth. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I’d first try a white eraser. Barring that, try sew-clean:

Sew Clean is an all natural fabric spot and stain remover. Use Nature’s own citrus extract with the fresh orange scent to remove stains – the all-natural way! It’s great for quilts, wallhangings and wearables. This all-natural cleaner is biodegradable, non-toxic and doesn’t have butyl or harsh alkalides. Sew Clean removes ink, pencil and crayon marks, lipstick and make-up, blood, grass stains and much more!
